A Unique Beginning
Over thirty years ago several leaders in real estate brokerage joined to form The Realty House. The headlines read “NEW APPROACH TO THE REAL ESTATE BUSINESS IS EMBODIED IN COOPERATIVE VENTURE UNDERTAKEN BY FOUR REALTORS AT THE REALTY HOUSE’. The organization was uniquely structured to attract service-oriented brokers and salespeople with proven ability to produce results for their clients.
Today the four broker-owners have grown to twenty-five, but The Realty House is still characterized more than anything else by the professionalism of its salespeople, having the highest average years of experience of any comparable Twin Cities brokerage. With about 60 salespeople today, The Realty House is one of the Twin Cities larger offices and its organizational concept is now being recognized and adopted by peer companies.
The sales staff provides an unusual breadth of services. There are specialists in every price range of either new or previously owned homes. Realty House brokers have built many of the areas finest homes and have created some of its most prestigious developments. Other brokers are innovators in relocation services, builders’ marketing services, marketing distressed property, property restoration, real estate appraisal or mortgage banking. Sales performance of associates is substantially above area averages. Every associate is a member of local, state and national REALTOR Boards, frequently participating on Board committees and in civic activities.

As an independent company, The Realty House is free from obligations to franchise policies or parent office bureaucracy, allowing maximum flexibility and response to clients’ needs. Realty House associates have maintained an enviable reputation of friendly service with special sensitivity to the personal concerns of their customers. In an industry highly dependent on referral business, our thirty years of success and growth is directly attributable to customers who keep coming back and referring their friends.
The sales staff is supported by a full range of marketing resources, professional management and a superb office staff. Full service computer systems are available for access to Regional MLS data, for creative marketing activities and for processing company business transactions. The company’s modern office is conveniently located in the suburbs of Minneapolis, one block off the freeway system.
In February 1995, we opened a new office in Prior Lake to better service the south Metro area.
